Although Habitat for Humanity primarily focuses on providing homeownership opportunities for deserving qualified families, it occasionally has resources available to assist elderly occupied households with repairs. Counseling and Legal Services
Clearpoint is a nonprofit organization that gives advice on buying a home, renting, defaults, foreclosures and credit issues. Consumer services provided by this agency are based on a sliding scale and are normally free for people with lower incomes.
