Central Midlands Council of Governments 
The Central Midlands Council of Governments guides area-wide development by providing research, planning and technical assistance to the 34 individual local governments in the region.

Community Relations Council

Lexington Richland Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council
The Lexington Richland Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council provides alcohol and drug abuse services to residents, including a sixteen-bed detoxification center, outpatient services and therapy.
