The goal of Richland County Elections & Voter Registration office is to raise voter awareness among residents of Richland County, by providing opportunities for the public to learn about the elections process.
We offer a number of outreach programs to increase voter participation among Richland County residents.
We are pleased to offer the following services to our residents:
- Mock Elections
- Photo ID's
- Request a Speaker
- Voter Registration Drives

Please note that request must be submitted 14 days prior to your event for consideration.
*During the months of May and June all outreach activities will be suspended, due to the June Primary Election.

Certification Hearing– 2018 June Statewide Primary Run Off Election
On Thursday, June 28, 2018, beginning at 10:00 am, the Richland County Voter Registration & Elections Board of Canvassers will conduct the Certification Hearing for the Statewide Primary Run Off.
The certification will take place in the 4th Floor Conference Room
Richland County Administration Building, 2020 Hampton Street, Columbia, SC 29204.
