Registration is open for the 5th Annual Small Business Conference, “Unveil Your Potential,” presented by the Richland County Office of Small Business Opportunity (OSBO). The free conference will be held Wednesday, Sept. 13 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Richland Two Institute of Innovation (R2i2) at 763 Fashion Drive, Columbia.
The conference will focus on creating a sense of community, fostering knowledge sharing and providing support and resources for business owners to successfully recognize and leverage opportunities available to them in Richland County.
“We’re seeing more major companies choosing Richland County a home base, so it’s important for the small-business owner to realize the potential of new customers, new revenues and new partnerships happening around them and how to best utilize those opportunities,” said OSBO Manager Erica Wade.
The day’s agenda will include a presentation from keynote speaker Matt Vaadi, CEO of guHRoo, on how small-business owners can turn rejections into wins. Workshop sessions, panel discussions and a “Vendor Village” will round out the day of ideas and strategies for small-business success.
Register here through Friday, Sept. 8 or by calling OSBO at 803-576-1540.
