Public Meetings
The Transportation Department welcomes residents’ input through regular public meetings focused on ongoing and upcoming projects in Richland County. With County facilities limited to the public because of COVID-19, the majority of these meetings will remain virtual until conditions allow for more in-person events.

Drop-in Meeting: Bluff Road Widening Phase 2
A public drop-in meeting will highlight Phase 2 of the County’s Bluff Road Widening Project. Attendees can review the project’s redesigned plans at their convenience, talk with Richland County Transportation staff about the designs, and give feedback on the project.

Bluff Road Widening Phase 2 involves the following upgrades:
- installing a traffic signal at Bluff Road and Bluff Industrial Boulevard
- resurfacing Bluff Road from National Guard and Berea roads to South Beltline Boulevard
- making intersection improvements as needed, such as turn lanes
Transportation staff have not yet established a timeline for the improvements, but aim to begin construction in 2023.
Residents can drop in at their convenience to view preliminary designs for the project and provide feedback to County staff or view them here.
Citizens who wish to provide input can fill out this Comment Card and submit by June 17th to the Transportation Department.
