Sanitary Rates Schedule

Effective August 1, 2024

Residential Equivalent Units (REUs) are based on 300 gals/day and SCDHEC Contributory Loading Guidelines. Fractions of an REU greater than 0.25 REU shall be considered an additional REU.
Property owners may request a payment plan for connection fees for primary residence subject to approval in accordance with county policy.

Standard Residential Sewer Connection Fees

All other site inspections/reinspections	$50/visit

Wholesale bulk connections are 2/3 of full rate per REU or otherwise contracted.

Sewer grey water interceptor pump-out (Per Trip)	$100 for first 500 gals + $25/ 500 gals thereafter
Reconnected terminated customer (standard)	$75
Reconnect terminated customer (excavation)	$375
Damage to equipment or infrastructure	Cost to replace/repair
Tampering with equipment or infrastructure (non-terrorism)	$200 per incident and/or imprisonment & damages

Unpermitted connections-$200+normal tap fees+back user fees+cost of all inspections=charges
