Plan Review Process
Depending on the type of project being proposed, plans may need to be submitted to multiple departments. For example, when constructing a commercial building on a vacant site, the applicant will need to submit, at a minimum, site plans to the planning department and building plans to the building department. - Commercial site and residential subdivision plans The Planning Department processes projects depending on proposed land use, layout and size of project. The review process for these types of projects involve several departments, including Planning, Engineering, Flood, Fire, Addressing, and GIS.
