This public hearing concerns the County's Consolidated Annual Performance & Evaluation Report (CAPER) for program year 2023. The report covers Community Development Block Grants, HOME Investment Partnership, and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The purpose of the CAPER is to allow the public an opportunity to review and comment on progress, achievements and expenditures of these federal programs, which primarily benefit low- and moderate-income people in unincorporated Richland County.
The CAPER will be reviewed at the public hearing, and a copy will be on display at the County's Community Development Office and online. Attend the public hearing or submit comments in writing by Friday, Dec. 20 for inclusion in the final report submitted to HUD.
