Handicapped Citizens

If a resident has a physical limitation, they may be eligible for a backyard service at no additional charge. A doctor’s statement is required for each person who typically spends time at the residence.  The statement must establish that each person in the house is physically incapable of rolling the cart to and from the curb. Backyard service only applies to garbage and recycling.  Yard waste is not eligible for backyard service.

When the eligible individual no longer resides at the location, backyard service will be discontinued.
