Where: Sheriff's Department, Denny Terrace Training Center Gym, 6429 Bishop Ave., Columbia
In this free series of self-defense classes, women can learn techniques and helpful strategies to help assess and avoid potentially dangerous situations.
Classes will be taught by the Richland County Sheriff's Department. Please register online. Parking will be behind the building. Look for the balloons at entrances to the parking lot and the building.
This series is organized by County Councilwoman Gretchen D. Barron (District 7).
