Bill Malinowski was sworn into office on Jan. 2, 2007, as the Richland County Councilmember representing District 1. Mr. Malinowski states that high among his priority list is working with his constituents and the business community to create more positive relationships and balance the demands of growth in his area. He believes it is important to protect the rural character of his community, while at the same time creating a positive climate for businesses to grow and develop.
What aspirations do you have for your tenure on County Council? To be able to work in a professional way with integrity, in order to make decisions based on the needs and the good of the community and not based on political orientation or special-interest desires.
What strengths/abilities do you feel that you bring to County Council? An honest, unbiased ability to review information presented, which will allow me to arrive at sound, logical conclusions that will be in the best interest of the community I serve.
