Description: The Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (RSWCD) seeks a Richland County Ag + Art Tour Coordinator. The Coordinator will chair the Richland County Ag + Art Tour Planning Committee and will oversee implementation of the 2025 Richland County Tour in accordance with guidelines provided by the SC Ag + Art Tour Director.

Primary Tasks:

• Chair the Richland County Ag + Art Tour Planning Committee
• Facilitate monthly Richland County Ag + Art Tour Planning Committee meetings
• Serve as Richland County’s representative on the statewide Ag + Art Tour Committee, attending statewide Committee meetings and acting as a liaison between the statewide program and the county program
• Support, direct, and oversee the work of other Planning Committee members, including Richland County and RSWCD staff, to ensure all Ag + Art Tour action items are implemented on time and within the operating budget

Position Type: The Ag + Art Tour Coordinator will serve as an independent contractor working remotely and will be paid on an hourly basis. The contract will run from October 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025 for an average of 5 hours/week of work, up to a maximum of 220 hours or $6,600 during the contract period. Position-related travel will be reimbursed at the standard mileage rate, up to a maximum of 1,343 miles or $900.
