Jennifer Mancke of Harmony School has been named SC's Conservation Teacher of the Year by the SC Association of Conservation Districts. 

February's Plant of the Month is Carolina jessamine, Gelsemium sempervirens.

January's plant of the month is witch hazel, Hamamelis virginiana. 

December's "plant of the month" is mistletoe (Phoradendron serotinum). 

November's "plant of the month" is the black tupelo, Nyssa sylvatica.
