Nominations for Richland County's Conservation Teacher of the Year are due by April 30, 2021.
Conservation Education Mini-Grants are available in amounts up to $1,000 to support conservation education initiatives at Richland County schools.
The 2020-2021 Youth Conservation Poster Contest theme is "Healthy Forests = Healthy Communities." Richland County K-12 students are invited to illustrate this theme and submit their entries by April 30, 2021. Cash prizes will be awarded to winning entries in each age category!

Seventeen students will receive awards in this year’s Youth Conservation Poster Contest sponsored by the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD). Posters addressed the topic “Where Would We BEE without Pollinators,” which challenged students to imagine a world without pollinators and to raise awareness about ways we can help conserve and protect these essential creatures.
