This weekend, the annual S.C. Ag + Art Tour brings together two of the state’s most vital industries, agriculture and tourism, to 15 farm- and art-related sites around Richland County.

Three Richland County students have been named state winners in a “Healthy Soil, Healthy Life” conservation poster contest sponsored by the South Carolina Association of Conservation Districts (SCACD). The students were winners of Richland County’s “Healthy Soil, Healthy Life” poster contest sponsored by the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (RSWCD) in 2022; their poster entries progressed to the state competition in January, 2023.

Twenty students from eight schools will receive awards in the annual Youth Conservation Poster Contest sponsored by the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (RSWCD).

Conservation education efforts of the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (RSWCD) recently received a generous boost from the Palmetto Garden Club of South Carolina.

A Richland County Ag + Art Tour Kickoff Event (Field Day, Farm Tour + Farmers Market) will be held at the Clemson Sandhill Research and Education Center at 900 Clemson Rd., Columbia, SC on Tuesday, May 30, from 2-6pm.
