Twenty students will take home honors in this year’s Youth Conservation Poster Contest sponsored by the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (RSWCD).

Conservation Education Mini-Grants provided by the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (RSWCD) will support four gardening and pollinator conservation projects at County education sites this spring.

Three Richland County conservationists received accolades Tuesday from the S.C. Association of Conservation Districts (SCACD) at its Conservation Partnership Conference in Charleston.

Beginning Tuesday, March 1, Richland County will offer residents free seeds to kick-start their home and community gardens for spring, thanks to a new partnership and a grant from Dominion Energy.

This winter, students at three County schools will plant trees thanks to Conservation Education Mini-Grants from the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District.
