Grants
Richland County Government has a variety of grant opportunities available to citizens, communities and organizations.
Grants programs offered include:
Tourism and Hospitality Grants
Accommodations Tax Grants provides financial support to non-profit organizations and groups fund tourism and tourism-related projects and events.
Hospitality Tax Grants provide financial support to organizations and projects whose primary mission is to attract tourists by promoting dining and overnight accommodations in unincorporated areas of Richland County.
Community and Neighborhood Grants
Community Impact Grants provide financial support to organizations and agencies that carry out community-based programs and/or services throughout Richland County.
Neighborhood Enrichment Grants Program provides funding for neighborhood organizations and associations to improve their communities.
Housing and Development Grants
Home Ownership Assistance Program provides down payment and closing cost assistance to make home ownership possible in unincorporated Richland County.
Community Development Block Grant Public Services Funding support a wide range of public services activities in the unincorporated areas of Richland County or that serve residents of the unincorporated areas of Richland County. The CDBG regulations allow the use of grant funds for a wide range of public services, including, but not limited to public safety, child care, health services, education programs, energy conservation, and services for homeless persons.
Conservation and Historic Preservation Grants
Conservation Grant Program is for local communities to protect their natural resources, improve water quality, and enhance active living recreational opportunities.
Historic Preservation Grant Program provides significant funds to preserve numerous culturally and historically significant buildings in Richland County.
