Richland County residents can bring household hazardous waste and other recyclable materials to a drive-thru event at the County's C&D Landfill.

Items collected will include, but are not limited to: paints, household cleaners and chemicals, pool chemicals, lawn and garden chemicals, propane cylinders and fire extinguishers. 

Explosives and ammunition, pharmaceutical waste, automotive fluids, electronics and tires will NOT be accepted. Residents can recycle automotive fluids, electronics and tires for free at County drop-off locations daily.

This event is for Richland County residents only and not open to commercial businesses. ID required.

The C&D Landfill is at 1070 Caughman Road N., Columbia.
