Two virtual public hearings originally scheduled this week to gather input on Community Development Block Grant funding will be held in February, giving residents more time to submit comments on plans that provide direction on using federal dollars for community improvement initiatives.
One public hearing will focus on the purchase of a new fire truck and the other seeks feedback on flood recovery efforts.
The public hearings originally planned for Thursday, Jan. 21 are rescheduled for Feb. 24 at 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
For the 5:30 p.m. meeting, Richland County is seeking public input regarding the amendment to the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan to purchase a new firetruck for the Gadsden Station.
