Richland County Councilwoman Cheryl English, District 10, will partner with state Sen. Darrell Jackson to host two in-person meet-and-greet sessions this week.
Both officials will be available for one-on-one conversations to answer questions and discuss issues affecting Lower Richland residents.
“As we’re coming out of the pandemic, this is an opportunity to talk with your Councilmember,” English said. “This is my community. This is my home. I’d like to establish those community connections.”
The first meet and greet will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, June 25 at Richland Library Eastover, 608 E. Main St., Eastover.
Residents can sign up for a 10-minute sit-down with Councilwoman English or Sen. Jackson. Call the County Clerk of Council's Office at 803-576-2060 and secure your spot ahead of time, or drop by the event to sign up for an individual meeting.
The second meet and greet will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26 in the Gadsden community, across from the post office on Bluff Road. Residents can drop in anytime during this free, outdoor event. The Friendly Caterer will provide refreshments, and residents can also register to vote.
