(Richland PIO) – Tragically, a detainee was found non-responsive in their cell. The detainee was housed alone without a roommate. We are devastated by this loss of life.

No additional comments will be made during this time as the Richland County Sheriff’s Department and Richland County Coroner’s Office are actively investigating this incident.
