Richland County trash and recycling routes will be affected for the remainder of the week due to the winter storm. Residents should make note of the following changes:
Curbside Garbage Collection
· Wednesday: No collections
· Thursday or Friday: Only as road conditions allow
· Saturday: Complete all outstanding routes
· Monday: Resume normal schedule
Curbside Recycling Collection
· Red bins: No pick-ups for remainder of the week
· Lime green roll carts: This week’s bi-weekly collections will be Friday, as regularly scheduled
· Normal schedules resume Monday, Feb. 17
Curbside Yard Waste Collection
· No collections for remainder of the week
· Normal schedule resumes Monday, Feb. 17
Richland County C&D Landfill
· Wednesday: Closed
· Thursday: Re-open if conditions allow
· Friday and Saturday: Open
· Storm debris pile for grinding
Lower Richland Drop-Off Center
· Wednesday: Closed
· Thursday: Re-open if conditions allow
· Friday and Saturday: Open
· Roll-off designated for storm debris only
Storm Debris Management
· Storm debris may be placed at curbside, but should be kept separate from yard waste.
· Storm debris curbside collections, if warranted, will begin early next or sooner
· Storm debris may be brought directly to the Richland County C&D Landfill or taken to the Lower Richland Drop-Off Center.
