Richland County Government offices will close Friday due the the lingering effects of the winter storm.

With the exception of essential staff, most government operations are on hold until Tuesday. The County already was scheduled to be closed Monday for Presidents Day. However, garbage services will be provided. 

Garbage service will begin Friday or Saturday as road conditions allow, and continue into Sunday if needed. Officials anticipate providing service Saturday for customers with the green recycling roll carts.
