Richland County Government offices will close in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays.

 

CHRISTMAS

·         Closings: Offices will be closed Christmas Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 24; Christmas Day, Thursday, Dec. 25; and Friday, Dec. 26.

 

·         Curbside trash collection: Pickups scheduled for Dec. 25 will be collected Dec. 26; collections scheduled Dec. 26 will be picked up Dec. 27.

 

·         Landfill/Drop-off: The County landfill and the Lower Richland Drop-off facility will be closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 25.

 

 

NEW YEAR’S DAY

·         Closing: Offices will be closed Thursday, Jan. 1.

 

·         Curbside trash collection: Pickups scheduled for Jan. 1 will be collected Jan. 2; Jan. 2 collections will be picked up Jan. 3.

 

·         Landfill/Drop-off: The County landfill and the Lower Richland Drop-off facility will be closed Jan. 1.

 

In addition, the County’s Jim Hamilton-L.B. Owens Airport will operate on a reduced schedule Christmas and New Year’s Day, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
