Eastover Solar -- a wholly owned subsidiary of Community Energy, an experienced utility-scale solar project developer -- announced plans to construct a new solar farm in Lower Richland. The company is investing $80 million in the project.

Richland County offices will close Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day.

Following a nationwide search, Richland County Council announces its four final candidates for the position of County Administrator.

The finalists are: Roderick Bremby, Leonardo Brown, William Shanahan and Dakisha Wesley.
