With both a winter storm warning and a cold-weather advisory in effect, Richland County is altering schedules for County Government facilities in order to keep employees and residents as safe as possible.

Richland County Government offices are scheduled to resume normal public operations at 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 22nd.

Richland County Government facilities will operate on altered schedules Monday, Jan. 20 as the County observes Martin Luther King Jr. Day. County Government offices will be closed Monday and reopen Tuesday, Jan. 21.

"Richland County disagrees with the conclusion of the report the Department of Justice released today and strongly believes we provide constitutional protections for individuals housed at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center."

Richland County is working to protect property owners’ privacy rights in response to a lawsuit filed by Zillow Inc.
