Education

Richland County is home to some of the best educational institutions in South Carolina. About 70,000 students attend school in the County's three school districts. There are 21 private schools and eight higher learning institutions, including the University of South Carolina.

Department of Education's website. Students new to the area will need a birth certificate, immunization records, previous report cards, and a medical form from the local health department or a personal physician.
