Nominate candidates for Richland County's 2018 Conservation Teacher and Principal of the Year by April 11, 2018. Winners will receive cash prizes and will be recognized at the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District's 2018 Annual Banquet.
The 2018 Conservation Poster Contest topic is Watersheds: Our Water, Our Home. Richland County students in grades K-12 are invited to submit poster entries (14"x22") until April 11, 2018. Winners will be eligible for cash prizes.
The Richland SWCD and its partners will host a "Natural Enemies, Pollinators, and Pesticides: Beneficial Insects and Integrated Pest Management Workshop" in Orangeburg, SC from 6-8pm on 2/15/18. Supper will be provided and 1 CCH for pesticide applicators is pending.
