A Project Learning Tree (PLT) preK-8 Curriculum Workshop will be held at Benedict College on Saturday, February 13, from 9:00am until 3:30pm. Lunch will be provided and participants will receive the PLT environmental education curriculum guide. Register here!

Richland County preK-12 students are invited to participate in the 2015 Arbor Day Youth Contests. Contest winners will receive recognition and $25 cash prizes. Submissions are due by October 23, 2015 November 6, 2015 (deadline extended due to flooding).
Mini-Grants (up to $250) are available to support Richland County Eagle Scout candidates' projects that promote natural resources conservation or conservation education initiatives. Application deadlines are October 15, 2015 and February 16, 2016.
Faculty and staff members of public, private, and alternative schools in Richland County are eligible to apply for Conservation Education and Clean Stream Columbia Mini-Grants (up to $250 each) for campus conservation projects. Applications received by October 15, 2015 October 30, 2015 (deadline extended due to flooding) will be considered for fall 2015 funding; applications received by February 16, 2016 will be considered for spring 2016 funding.
