Ella Grace Comer, age 10, has been named the State Winner in the SC Association of Conservation Districts’ Conservation Poster Contest in the 2nd-3rd Grade category.
Richland County K-12 students are invited to submit entries for the 2015 National Conservation Poster Contest to compete for cash prizes at the local, state, and national level. The 2015 poster contest theme is “Local Heroes—Your Hardworking Pollinators” (with or without the hyphen). Posters are due by April 3, 2015.
Nominations for Richland County's 2014-2015 Conservation Teacher and Principal of the Year will be accepted until April 3, 2015. Winners will receive cash prizes and be recognized at the District's annual banquet.
