Senior citizens in Richland County will get a needed boost amid the COVID-19 outbreak, with the County covering costs of providing more than 40,000 meals.

Richland County employees continue to work hard for residents, despite County offices being closed to the public and nonessential staff during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Richland County Coronavirus Ad Hoc Committee will meet at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 16. 

Manufacturers across Richland County are adapting their production to help in the fight against COVID-19. 

Richland County Council has dedicated $1.5 million to assist first responders, other public safety personnel and the community’s most vulnerable residents during the COVID-19 outbreak.
