Richland County Government offices will close Monday, Jan. 20 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

A Richland County resident displaced by the 2015 flood began the new year in a new home, thanks to a partnership between the County’s flood recovery program and Mungo Construction.

At its first meeting of the year Tuesday, Richland County Council reelected Councilman Paul Livingston to serve as chair.

Informing and connecting businesses in Richland County with procurement opportunities will be the focus of an event Thursday, Jan. 9.

Richland County Government offices will close Dec. 24-26 in observance of Christmas and Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day.
