Construction work to widen Clemson Road is nearing the halfway point.

Kemira, a global chemicals company, announced plans to expand operations in Richland County, investing $20 million into the project.

Residents interested in connecting to County utilities through the Southeast Richland Water and Sewer Project have until Monday, Dec. 16 to sign up for services and avoid fees to tap into the system before construction begins.

Richland County Transportation will reorganize its greenway program to address the viability and cost of remaining projects. 

Richland County hosted an Arbor Day celebration at L.W. Conder Arts Integrated Magnet School on Friday.
