A major road project gets underway in Richland County this year and construction continues on another as transportation officials work to address traffic congestion and road safety on major thoroughfares in our community.

Kelly Price, a Richland County Utilities employee, received statewide recognition for her work in the field of water analysis.

Miwon Specialty Chemical Co., a specialty chemical manufacturer based in South Korea, announced plans to locate its new production operations in Richland County. The company’s $19.5 million investment is projected to create 25 new jobs.
