Richland County Community Development is once again the recipient of a national award for showcasing the many resources it provides to residents through federal funding.

Hoses, helmets and rubber boots abounded in Richland County this week as hundreds of firefighters from across the state visited the Capital County to take part in two simultaneous conferences. 

For the fourth consecutive year, Richland County’s emergency responders are being recognized nationally for the life-saving care they provide to heart attack patients.

Richland County’s fleet program is being recognized as one of the best in the Americas – a lofty achievement considering there are 38,000 fleets in North America alone.

Richland County offices will close Monday, May 28, in observance of Memorial Day.
