Richland County’s advocacy program that serves neglected children has once again been spotlighted nationally, this time for its innovative approach to solving a critical information gap.

Richland County is preparing to launch a national search for a new director to oversee operations at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, whose longtime administrator is stepping down later this month.

About 16 metered parking spots in front of the Richland County Administration Building will be unavailable for three days this week due to routine maintenance.

Public input is helping shape the future of Richland County.
