Former Greenville County Administrator and Newberry College associate professor Gerald Seals is Richland County government’s new chief executive after the County Council recently appointed him to serve as the interim Richland County Administrator.

Richland County received certification this week through the South Carolina Work Ready Communities initiative, which will assist the County in its efforts to attract and retain international business development.

Business owners in Richland County now have the convenience of paying hospitality taxes online through the County’s Business Service Center.
