Richland County Government offices will close Monday, May 30, in observance of Memorial Day.

The South Carolina State Fairgrounds became the epicenter of recycling Saturday as residents dropped off unwanted household junk for Richland County’s huge annual recycling event.

After many years of good ideas, negotiations, offers, false starts and close calls, Richland County has now sold the historic Curtiss-Wright Hangar at the Jim Hamilton–L.B. Owens Airport (CUB) to a private developer.
