Neighborhood improvement, financial empowerment and improving quality of life are at the heart of an upcoming free conference that welcomes residents from across Richland County.

Local small business owners are encouraged to attend an upcoming meeting that will detail the processes for eligibility to work on a variety of  Richland County projects.

Richland County residents helped keep nearly 130,000 pounds of household waste out of landfills and dump sites by participating in Richland Recycles Day, making the annual event a huge success.

Residents in Lower Richland celebrated the grand opening of a scenic new community park along the banks of Pinewood Lake — a facility that offers space for picnics, leisurely strolls, exercise routines and a look back at history.
