Richland County is teaming up with a national video production company to highlight the community in a series of videos coming soon to the County’s website.

A farm project involving Richland County’s Conservation Department sprouted national attention recently from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

The Hopkins community wanted a modern, easy-to-access medical facility and Monday Richland County representatives, community leaders and health officials gathered to celebrate the opening of the Hopkins Family Practice – a milestone for the area. The County’s Community Development Department secured the federal funds to build the facility and reached an agreement with the Eau Claire Cooperative Health Centers (ECCHC) to operate it.

Richland County is celebrating National Community Development Week, April 21-25.

With warmer weather on the way, the Richland County Vector Control Program will begin spraying to keep mosquitos at bay – and urge residents to do their part as well.
