Due to the the lingering effects of the winter storm, most Richland County Government services were halted Friday. With the execption of essential operations, offices also will be closed Monday for Presidents Day. All offices are scheduled to resume normal business hours Tuesday.
Richland County Government offices will close Friday due the the lingering effects of the winter storm.
Richland County, under a State of Emergency due to the winter storm, will suspend on Thursday all County operations except for essential functions. Council Chair Norman Jackson signed the emergency declaration Wednesday after discussions with the County administrator and emergency management staff. Officials will monitor weather conditions Thursday to make a determination about whether to close or open on a delayed schedule Friday.
Richland County trash and recycling routes will be affected for the remainder of the week due to the winter storm. Residents should make note of the following changes.
Richland County Government offices will close Wednesday due to the effects of a winter ice storm. Wednesday’s closing does not apply to essential personnel. A decision about Thursday will be released Wednesday as officials continue to monitor weather conditions.
