Richland County residents will soon have several opportunities to review revisions to the County’s zoning map and Land Development Code (LDC) before the changes go to County Council for consideration.

A Richland County employee and a local teacher were honored recently by the S.C. Association of Conservation Districts (SCACD) for their accomplishments and dedication to conservation efforts.

A Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (RSWCD) program that provides free vegetable, herb and wildflower seeds to County residents is re-launching with a second permanent location, thanks to funding from a Dominion Energy Environmental Education and Stewardship Grant.

The County was saddened to learn of the death of 29-year-old Antonius Donshe Randolph and would like to express heartfelt condolences to Mr. Randolph’s family.

Richland County Councilmembers used a two-day Strategic Planning Forum in Charleston to set priorities for 2023 and lay a foundation for upcoming projects, while also discussing successful initiatives by Charleston County.
