A County organization that serves children in foster care is calling on the business community to help bring young people some holiday joy. Richland County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is giving local businesses the chance to “adopt” a child through its Angel Tree program.

County Government offices will close Friday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day.

County Councilwoman Gretchen Barron will hold a virtual town hall meeting Monday, Nov. 14 to discuss map amendment requests for four Northeast Richland properties.

Students at five local education sites will receive hands-on environmental education this fall, thanks to financial support provided by the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (RSWCD).

Organizations that offer community-based programs and services will soon be able to apply for financial support through a Richland County grant program.
