City Roots, a family-owned urban farm and agribusiness destination, today announced plans to expand operations in Richland County. The company’s $4.4 million investment will create 60 new jobs over the next five years.

As part of the ongoing comprehensive update process for the Land Development Code (LDC), Richland County Council has approved an ordinance to keep the current 2005 LDC in place until a revised text and map are adopted.

Richland County offices will close Monday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

The County’s Planning Commission has set a tentative schedule for additional work sessions to discuss rewriting the County’s 2021 Land Development Code (LDC).
