The County’s Planning Commission has set a tentative schedule for additional work sessions to discuss rewriting the County’s 2021 Land Development Code (LDC).

County residents are invited to celebrate the accomplishments of local neighborhoods at a free block party Thursday, June 23.

Environmentalists in Richland County, including a County employee, earned places in the spotlight at the annual conference for the Environmental Education Association of South Carolina (EEASC), taking home more than half of the organization’s top honors.

Richland County offices will close Monday, May 30, in observance of Memorial Day.

Following its next regularly scheduled meeting Monday, June 6, the Richland County Planning Commission will hold a work session to continue discussing recently restarted efforts related to mapping and text for the County’s 2021 Land Development Code (LDC).
