An upcoming workshop will introduce Richland County residents to a resource for creating better communities.

​LaserForm & Machine Inc. (LaserForm & Machine), a metal fabrication and machine shop, today announced plans to expand operations in Richland County. The company is investing $5 million and creating 51 new jobs.

The Richland County Planning Commission met Monday, May 9, to officially restart mapping efforts for the rewrite of the County’s 2021 Land Development Code (LDC), which regulates land use, growth and development.

Richland County residents can drop off a variety of unwanted household items during Richland Recycles Day on Saturday, May 14.

The public will soon have the chance to give feedback on Richland County’s operating budget for the upcoming fiscal year, which runs from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023.
