As the state gears up to celebrate Soil and Water Stewardship Week, Richland County is spotlighting efforts by the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (RSWCD) to preserve the County’s natural resources.

Renters in Richland County who lost income because of COVID-19 need to know two things: financial help is available to help pay rent and utilities and the money doesn’t have to be repaid.

Richland County Councilmembers Gretchen Barron, Jesica Mackey, Derrek Pugh and Overture Walker are partnering with statewide elected officials to hold three vaccine clinics later this month in Northeast Richland.

Residents can now receive COVID-19 vaccinations at the Columbia Place Mall, where a portion of the facility owned by Richland County has been transformed into a federally supported community vaccination center.
