Richland County’s C&D Landfill, Lower Richland Drop-off Center and Clemson Road Drop-off Recycling Site will operate on altered schedules because of the upcoming Christmas holiday.

Belk, the nation’s largest private department store chain, will invest $2.5 million over the next five years to make improvements to its distribution center in Richland County.

Sensor Electronic Technology Inc. (SETi), a leading global supplier of ultraviolet light-emitting diodes (UV LEDs), today announced plans to expand operations in Richland County. The $55 million investment will create 40 new jobs.

By investing in an innovative training and recruiting program, Richland County aims to create a talent pipeline to increase the number and diversity of software engineers and meet local demand in the area’s growing technology industry.
