Richland County Government offices will close Wednesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

The Richland County Public Information Office is being recognized nationally for its efforts to educate residents about the County’s services and programs.

Richland County Community Development is once again the recipient of a national award for showcasing the many resources it provides to residents through federal funding.

Hoses, helmets and rubber boots abounded in Richland County this week as hundreds of firefighters from across the state visited the Capital County to take part in two simultaneous conferences. 

For the fourth consecutive year, Richland County’s emergency responders are being recognized nationally for the life-saving care they provide to heart attack patients.
