Richland County Government offices will open at 10 a.m. Thursday, due to the possibility of slick roadways.

Richland County emergency officials continue to monitor weather conditions as the entire County is under a winter weather advisory until 7 p.m.

Richland County Council met for the first time this year to elect a chair and vice chair to serve in those roles through 2018.

Richland County residents can take active roles with local government by applying to serve on one of several boards, committees and commissions.

Richland County Government offices will close Monday, Jan. 15 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
